Complementary Therapy

A 'complementary therapy' (also sometimes called 'alternative therapy') is generally a therapy that may complement or enhance mainstream forms of treatment rather than used as a replacement or "instead of" therapy or treatment. There are numerous definitions to be found on an internet search; however, the CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) list the complementary therapies that it registers here

More information about Complementary and Alternative medicine and treatments can be found on the NHS Live Well website

Complementary therapy constitutes a small part of my work in that I am a qualified and registered Hypnotherapist (CNHC registered) and also I have a great interest in Shamanic practice

In addition, to these two complementary therapies, my friend and colleague Bev Rayner is a fully qualified, highly experienced and reputable Massage Therapist and I am happy to include her work on this website. Bev does not as a rule work at the clinic - she is based nearby in West Bradford
